Again I am relying on my friends at MySpyGolf to provide the best information available for the benefit of my readers. Ever since I was introduced to Evnroll Putters at the PGA show I have been a real fan. I have help a number of the members at my club make decisions on a new putter and this type of information has been a great help. Check out the link below to get the latest information.

In 2018 it appears that again the Evnroll has topped the list again, however, a new character has entered the fight. Tommy Armour has a new model (#3 Align) that has great test results. Based on price, it is appears to be very much within consideration of the readers here.

Just received my new SC200 Swing Caddie 2 launch monitor and am working on seeing just how well it correlates with my club information from the past. This appears to be a very good device with some very neat functions. Though this does not have the massive number of functions necessary for club fitting purposes it does provide the every day player the expert advise necessary to improve the game. did the first review of the SC100 version with mixed results, but below you will see Hacker’s Paradise’s review which points out the benefit of upgrade in the following link:

Swing Caddie SC200 Personal Launch

The devices is available from many locations (estimated at $349.99) but the best thing that everyone can understand is that it is much better for the player improvement as a training aide as opposed the launch monitor (i.e. Trackman, Flightscope, etc.) which is used by most of industry professionals for club fitting and equipment tweaking.

New Putting Lesson: Finding The Right Line To The Hole

Due to the most critical importance of putting relative to one’s score (ususally 41-45%), I have always looked for articles that build the foundation of understanding for the process. Recently I received an article from David McKenzie, Golf State of Mind, that I think is a very good basic analysis of a critical part of the process that every player must understand as a baseline for improvement in his/her personal game.

Does your swing fit you?

As the summer closes down and we all plan for the fall, I suggest that we look at our golf swing. There will be many opportunities over the fall and winter for us to view a list of new programs which will report to fix all your alignments. However, I would be very careful. Each person, including myself, have seen extensive numbers of people who have very good swing and those that are very bad. The most popular theory I have found in the teaching section is that the players which flip-flop from one technique to the Read more »

As a range master at the local club, I am often queried by golfers who are always looking good tips to improve their game. I constantly am referring them to the club teaching professional which is the best way for players to improve. However, in the latest email received from Doug Tewell, Swing by Swing, he included two videos which I think would help with two basic problems for most golfers and can be verified by most teaching professionals. Watch these two videos and see if they aren’t a help.

How to Break 80 Program

Most every golfer today is in search of any theory or programs that will give them a short path to a better golf game. In lieu of getting first hand professional instruction, there are a number of instructional self-help programs that give you the outline of good technique. A number of big name instructors, any many lesser knows, have presented their theory. Below is a link to one of those instructional programs that I have followed and support because it is applicable to such a large cross-section of golfers, such as those I see during my golf lessons.

The program outline has a good structure to follow as well as a good source of basic information that any player can use for getting a better golf swing. In this program with some diligent study, you will gain the understanding the various points needed to become a better golfer. As good as the program is, it should be noted that there is no substitute to getting first hand one-on-one instruction.
